I had a friend from Hungary, and he grew up during the propaganda-ridden 70s and 80s under the communists. He said people knew that what blared off the speakers about Hungary being the best at everything was just wrong. He said the people that believed it were the idiots. The same can be said in any country, whether what is claimed to be great about the country is true or not. I think countries are silly, and are only useful as being management units, but not as territory to be guarded. The rednecks say we are not like animals, but a great many of them have this unconscious desire to pee on trees.
